Bondin' on the Bayou

"Restoring the relationship between first responders and our community, one child at a time."

In 2022 HHYC partnered with the Cottonport Police Department to host a fun, free event to foster a healthy bond between our young community and local first responders.

The first Bondin' on the Bayou event was held on April 2, 2022 at the Sarah Anne Williams Memorial Park in Cottonport. The event was a huge success with over 200 attendants and 17 vendor booths. In addition to our delicious food, great music, exciting basketball games, and fun bounce houses, all vendor booths were able to provide a fun game or activity for the children to participate in.

Our amazing event team was also able to raise enough money to provide every child in attendance with a free toy, amounting to over $2,000 in brand new merchandise.
