Giving Tree
We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to take part in one of the nation's most recognized and widely-celebrated holidays.
The HHYC Giving Tree is an anonymous way to connect children in need with kind donors in order to provide the child with a meaningful Christmas gift.
Beginning each November, family and friends are able to register children in need for the program. All children receive an apple ornament on our tree that states their gender, age, and needs/interests. Donors are able to choose ornaments from the tree and purchase gifts for that child. HHYC then disperses all gift donations to the families throughout mid-late December.
HHYC would like to thank everyone who donated their time and resources to the 2022 Christmas Giving Tree program. Thanks to your hard work, we were able to provide 227 local children with Christmas gifts, along with providing 72 hygiene stockings to the Acadiana Center for Youth residents.
Registration for the 2023 season will begin October 13th, 2023.
