Empower
When groups of diverse populations are integrated, people who feel as though they are typically overlooked may feel empowered to meet others who resemble and understand them.
Network
When communities gather together, its members are able to meet and communicate with one another and create relationships.
Trust
When community members are able to congregate and bond, they usually build relationships that create a sense of trust. When a person is able to trust the people in their community, as well as those in local governance.
Problem-Solving
When working together, community-members are typically able to draw on the group's diverse knowledge and backgrounds to create more practical and effective solutions.
